Navigate to SharinPix Forms on the AppExchange and click on the ‘Try It’ button to start your free trial of SharinPix Forms.

Fill in all the required information in Step 2, then click the ‘Continue to Installation’ button to proceed.

After completing the installation, go to ‘Installed Packages’ in the Setup menu to verify whether the package has been successfully installed.

On the Top left-hand side, click on App Launcher and select the ‘SharinPix Form Templates’

The SharinPix Form Template Editor is a tool in Salesforce that lets users easily create and manage their form templates. It uses a simple drag-and-drop interface, making it easy to add different types of fields, including options for capturing photos or videos, and preview the form.

Before accessing the SharinPix Form Template Editor, make sure the user has been assigned the SharinPix Forms permission set, as it is required to use the editor.

Within the ‘SharinPix Form Templates’ section, you can design and configure the form that field engineers will use during their surveys. In this example, we’ve created a form titled ‘Fire Safety Inspection Form’.

As shown in the image above, once your form is ready, you can click the ‘Test’ button to preview how it will appear to users.

For this business use case, we’ll add the SharinPix Form Launcher to the Contact object. To begin, open any Contact record, click on the gear icon, and choose ‘Edit Page’.

In the components panel on the left, search for ‘SharinPix Form Launcher’ and drag it onto the Lightning record page. Then, in the right-hand configuration panel, under ‘SharinPix Form Template Name or ID’ and select ‘Fire Safety Inspection Form’ and save the lightning record page.

In the Related List section of the Contact record, you’ll find the SharinPix Form Responses object. This is where all response records linked to that specific contact will be stored.

After setting up the SharinPix Form in your Salesforce org, proceed to download and install both the Salesforce mobile app and the SharinPix app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

 

Launch the Salesforce mobile app and go to any record within the Contact object. Click on the ‘Fire Safety Inspection Form’ button.

 

 

After clicking the button, you’ll be redirected to the SharinPix app, where the form will automatically open.

 

 

 

 

Complete all the required fields in the form and click ‘Save’.

A new record will then appear in the related list of the Contact record from which you opened the SharinPix Form.
